in case you didn't get it the first time
Full of delights.
awesome sampling of christine mcvie! in jaars set :) loving it.
jaar needs some polishing
Actually I have a question for Nico Jaar... What nationality is the band Iva Gocheva... and which lady are they named after... 'cos 'Iva Gocheva' is a girl name... and you, Nico, you gonna release an album of them on your label, right?
Not really impressed with this new kid on the bloc Nicolas Jamjarr, what a lot of rubbish this mix of his...I agree with the polishing quote, this guy is just hype and you know what they say...
I got a lot out of this NJ mix, thank you so much.
The Sweeney mix is the most surprising of the two, even though I downloaded this initially cause the Jaar contribution. Nice he used Torske. :).
Too bad the rips are in 128 kbs. It takes a lot of the OOOMPF out of the music, if you know what I mean.
Great music all round. Always make room in my ears for Mr Sweeney and Jaar got me nodding and thinking. BUT...
I'm with the last poster, and I really don't want to sound ungrateful, but why spend so much time getting some of the most extraordinary, cutting edge music together, compiled with such love and devotion by amazing guests, only to put it up at 128kbs? The idea that sitting in some archive somewhere are all these crazy mixes in lossless format, never to be heard again, makes my palms sweat and my ears itch...
Tim Sweeney, you've REALLY lifted me out of my rut! Luuuuuve your Pt selection and mix!
Holy sh*t, that DJ Nature track is making me sweat! (That's a compliment, by the way)
And, for some reason the DJ Nature-Everyone track makes me want to listen to Ice Cube-Put Your Back Into It...so I did. Just thought I'd share that tidbit.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T
This is THE BEST !!
good mix, Mr. Jaar, respect for the tasteful Bees remix and uh, did a big double take when "Specters of the Future" started up, beautiful track
