see you soon again hopefully

Matt January 23, 2013 3:13 PM

Don't be mean Tim :(

Nikita January 23, 2013 3:31 PM

Viktor is just magnificent

Eamon C January 23, 2013 5:17 PM

You're a saint Tim for listening to that shit for nearly 40 mins, didn't realise you were doing therapy live on air these days.....missed you in Dublin last weekend but heard from friends that you rocked the bollix out of the place....

Eamon C January 23, 2013 5:25 PM

Why does that always happen on this website?? Victor never picks you up on the real problems you have on BIS!!

Tom January 24, 2013 5:54 AM

YES! The Juan. This is going to make my train journey So much better.

Declan January 24, 2013 6:54 AM

Tim. Well done in Dublin last weekend, come back soon. Victor had you on the ropes there. I think a live show OB/video stream from Washington Heights is in order.

Dhunt January 24, 2013 9:33 AM

That drums&drums&drums tune is so good. Can't wait till I get my copy. Thanks for playing it. Also enjoyed getting to know Victor a bit more too, he seems like an interesting person

bohmer January 24, 2013 12:51 PM

I think Victor is annoying when he talks more then five minutes

Chris Tucker January 24, 2013 7:47 PM

Juan's defection is as bad as when Paul "Mr Wonderful" Orndorf turned on Hulk Hogan.

Chris Tucker January 24, 2013 7:50 PM

I love the arabian stuff. the thai funk, the turkish sayk, it's actually my favourite part of the show.

Michel January 25, 2013 7:13 AM

Well done Tim. Thanks Victor for supporting the show, but I don't think that your opinion represents the fans of BIS. BIS is not a seafood restaurant, like you want it to be. Unpredictability is one of the features of BIS. It always was, and that is what Tim stands for.....

aaroneous January 25, 2013 8:33 AM

Tim! I thought you always wanted your show to be a place where "anything could be expected"! And that's why I've been listening for years! No one wants to hear any one specific genre for all time, and I loved the last couple of weeks because I feel like you've tried to mix it up a bit.

Kudos bro.

ldizzle74 January 25, 2013 11:54 AM

Tim give me back the 40 mins you stole from me listening to victor you totally blew my groove play the music love the show

Bandit January 25, 2013 3:47 PM

- Victor has parties where about 65 people come every Tuesday. In the summer its over 100.
- Victor works on Wall St.
- Victors son is in the military and has a gun. He is a captain of something
- Victor may or may not have a gun.
- Victor works for Goldman Sachs
- Victor makes millions of dollars
- Victor is 57
- Victor takes kids to Yankee Stadium and MSG (court side) for charity
- Victor has a couple houses
- Victor did drugs back in the day, smoked

mike January 25, 2013 5:15 PM

victor is like a "hipster" donald trump.

Emil January 26, 2013 7:29 PM

Best radio show ever!!!!!! Tim Sweeney and Juan Mclean are the best!!! Victor from Washintong Heights for President!!!!!!

toronto adrian January 27, 2013 11:53 PM

the summer camp thing came outta nowhere. just wonderful.
keep playin' the deep cuts, Tim.
killer show.

Who Knows January 28, 2013 5:44 PM

Victor is Juan Maclean

Dambusta January 29, 2013 3:27 PM

I don't get it. What does threatening people, like Victor has done multiple times, have anything to do with freedom of speech? Or is this just part of his whole mythomaniac act? Even if everything is true, I kind of feel sorry for the guy. And his "parties" are probably anything but pachanga... Keep the great shows coming Tim! And thanks to Victor for being as unexpected as an "Arabian chant"!

Rowdy January 29, 2013 8:56 PM

Would have loved to have heard some more music from Juan...

Alex January 29, 2013 11:28 PM

What an episode! And without buildup - we knew right from the beginning that something was up. To Tim - keep doing your show the way you do it. To Juan - lighten up, Jesus. To Victor - what even is your deal? Whatever - hoping to hear more Tim and friends in the future without the detractors.
ps - called for the first time this week

Nikita January 30, 2013 6:36 PM

i suppose that the video Juan talking about is

Milad January 31, 2013 2:36 PM

That was amazing! Absolutely loved the part with Victor, he's hilarious

Rhucs February 2, 2013 11:20 AM

Victor is a right-wing wall street money maker with a son in the army. Say it all...

Money + Music = MTV
Passion + Music = BiS

You have a lot of Beats in Space fans in this house Tim. Big love from London.

Gustav February 9, 2013 12:25 AM

Victor must be a guest anytime soon!

Tim Moidered February 12, 2013 3:42 PM

Re: Victor
Just play the music Tim; as eclectic and leftist as possible, new, old, diverse, dancey, housey, new, old, known, obscure or otherwise- play whatever you want, don’t listen to them.
However, Victor is clearly unwell and you’re just up yourself, just play the music or like Victor, I might have to sack listening to you as well. Whilst I hate to agree with this bloke, no one listens to the show because they think you’re witty; you’ve got a good music collection. And to be fair, you’re pretentious and can scarcely mix anyway. But what’s wrong with your “brand” being eclectic… nothing at all. The things that Juan and Victor are admonishing you for are the things that attract me to the show, the fact it can go in any direction at any point; that’s what makes a good DJ!
Victor may have mental health issues but you bullying him and ridiculing him on air (which backfired)… come on, sort your ego out. Did you not see what happened with the windup of the nurse in the hospital looking after Kate Middleton by some New Zealand DJ’s a few weeks back? As for saying this is my show stop ganging up on me, get a grip. You are however correct in that it’s a 2 hour show, your show; play what you want man. If you want to play Arabian music, go for it, I like new stuff, that’s why I listen to the show, the stuff Juan and Victor want is played on mainstream cheesy radio shows in the UK so appreciate your musical knowledge, I just think you’re a narcissistic fool and it is actually getting to a point where you and the sound of your voice are ruining it for me and I’m thinking of stopping listening.
I used to like U2 but Bono ruined it for me; just an analogy.
The fact that you entertain having someone like Victor on your show anyway… come on, why give some mental capitalist Republican a platform to make you look stupid?
Get off your pedestal and stop giving this guy airspace. And I know that I’m just being diplomatic in the way I describe Victor; to be honest when I heard his messages prior to his phoning in, I thought he was faking it, I didn’t realise he was for real. He’s some rigid right winger but you’re not intelligent enough to row with him, he made a mug of you. If you had a bit of sense you could’ve given him a good argument. So just sack him off and play some music
